Equipped with state-of-the-art computing resources, the bioinformatics centre supports advanced research projects and has granted over 15 PhD degrees to accomplished scholars.<\/p>\n<p>1. Advanced research in structural bioinformatics for development of multi-scale modelling tools for: In silico identification of microbiome associated metabolites and biochemical pathways affecting cellular processes in host.Genome scale prediction of signaling (Protein-Protein) &amp;amp; regulatory (Protein-RNA\/DNA)networks &amp; Analysis of disease associated mutations in coding and non-coding regions<\/p>\n<p>2. Collaborative research programs with experimental research groups in India working on major disease biology projects like malaria, tuberculosis and cancer for facilitating data driven research.<\/p>\n<p>3. Initiating consortium projects involving structural bioinformatics research groups in India in collaboration with leading international bioinformatics centers to build major resources.<\/p>\n<p>4. High end infrastructure building for providing hardware\/software resources for MD simulations, drug design and NGS data analysis.5. It pioneers computational methods for protein substrate prediction and identifies key biosynthetic pathways. Our recent ML approach to predict modulators of protein-protein interactions, phosphorylation sites and small-ORFs has been published in reputed journals<\/p>\n<p>The centre has a robust computational infrastructure, encompassing high-performance computing (HPC) systems with A100 and V100 GPUs, enabling cutting-edge bioinformatics research.
