The BIC was equipped with high-performance servers, workstations, and monitors, as well as leased line internet connectivity.

Approved Objectives of the Centre:-
1. Documentation of medicinally important plants
2. Co-expression network analysis of secondary metabolite gene clusters
3. Development of database of important medicinal plants for research endeavors
4. Awareness program for students and researchers in the field of Bioinformatics
5. Knowledge sharing on High-Throughput data analysis and collaboration with National and International institutes.
