PAYOsphaeria minuta Leong

Ascomata 125-180 µm high, 120-170 µm in diameter, globose to flask-shaped, solitary, sub-hyaline to yellowish brown, superficial, ostiolate, papillate and membranaceous. Necks 52-110 µm long x 32-48 µm in diameter, conical to elongate, cylindrical and subhyaline to yellowish brown. Paraphyses hyaline, branched and septate.

Asci 40-68 µm long x 5-7.5 µm wide, 8-spored, unitunicate, thin-walled, cylindrical pedicellate and developing at the base of the ascocarp.

Ascospores 4.5-8.0 µm x 3.8-6 µm, globose to pyriform, hyaline, aseptate, thick-walled, smooth, without appendages or gelatinous sheath.
