Phialophorophoma litoralis Linder

Farlowia 1: 403, 1944.

Conidiomata: 140-192 µm high x 120-200 µm in diam., immersed, subglobose or ellipsoidal, unilocular, ostiolate, pappillate or epapillate, subcarbonaceous, brown to black, glabrous, solitary.

Conidiophores: cylindrical, hyaline, septate, branched, with lateral and terminal phialides, produced on the inner cells of the peridium.

Conidiogenous cells: 7-10 x 2.5-3.5 µm, monophialidic, enteroblastic, cylindrical, lateral phialides produced near transverse septa of the conidiophore.
