Savoryella sp.

 

Ascomata:136-300 µm high x 120-210 in diam., superficial or semi-immersed, ellipsoidal, black, ostiolate, papillate, periphysate, carbonaceous, solitary or gregarious.

Asci: 140-190 x 16-24 µm, 8-spored, elongate-cylindrical or clavate, pedunculate, thin-walled, unitunicate, semipersistent or persistent.

Ascospores: 25-42 x 11-19 µm, 1-2-seriate, ellipsoidal, 3-septate, central cells large, brown, apical cells, small, hyaline, constricted at the septa, surrounded by mucilaginous sheath, verrucose.
