Stamens 10 (9 + 1), diadelphous, staminal coloumn 1 cm long, anthers remain free, anther bilobed, basifixed, introse, inserted 
Carpels 2, syncarpous, conical, ovary superior, two ovules in single chamber, marginal placentation, style 1, terminal, stigma absent 
Fruit pod, nut like 5.8 cm long and 3.5 cm broad with persistent calyx, elliptic, gree, but black brown on maturity and woody on drying
