Cervical and post-hepatic grooves are deep

Rostrum with dorsal and ventral teeth and in addition tow lateral teeth are present.

The lateral teeth are situated one on each side of the rostrum

The third pairs of pereopod are long and stout, with 3 teeth in the cutting edge of chela

The fourth and fifth pereopods are normal

Reddish in colour
