Gastro-orbital carina occupying the posterior 2/3 distance between hepatic spine and orbital angle

Blade of rostrum becoming moderatly high in large speciemens

Adrostral crest and groove extending as far as or just beyond epigastric tooth

In adult males dactyl of third maxilliped about as long as propodus (0.85 to 1.0 times)

Petasma with distomedian projections overhanging distal margin of costae, ventral costae unarmed outer surface of lateral lobes with a few rows of minute tubercles

Thelycum with lateral plates, their median margins forming tumid lips beset with papillae on their inner-surface.

Anterior process rounded distally, posterior process ill-calcifief, almost completely inserted between lateral plates

Species : Penaeus (Fenneropenaeus) indicus

In adult males, dactyle of third maxilliped half (0.5 to 0.6 times) as long as propodus
