Distinctive characters : Spines are present throughout the carapace, abdominal segments, and telson; cervical grooves are deep; rostrum with both dorsal and ventral teeth and t-vjo lateral teeth; third pairs of pereopod's chela with 3 teeth in the cutting edge.
