Distinctive characters : Body very strongly depressed; rostrum is rather short and broad and no conspicuous teetti. The lower portion of the branchiostegal regions of the carapace and the pleura of the anterior abdominal segments reflexed against the ventral surface. Commensal with the bivalve.

Colour : Pale white
