Brief History of the Centre:-
The center is established in 2022 in the Dept. of Biotechnology in IIT Kharagpur with the support from DBT India. At present four faculty members are associated with the Department.

Approved Objectives of the Centre:-
1. Development of tools, software, and databases
2. Manpower development through training and teaching, organizing workshops, symposiums
3. Research and development activities
