Scimoon http://sciwhylab.jnu.ac.in/scimoon/ Yes http://14.139.62.220/software_uploads/600.jpg No File Firefox/Mozilla/Safari?chrome Its a database of moonlighting proteins contunously being expended
Chickpea SNP Disccovery http://ccbb.jnu.ac.in/Casnp/ Yes http://14.139.62.220/software_uploads/622.jpg No File Firefox/Mozilla/Safari/chrome Chickpea (Cicer arietinum) is one of the most important legume crops for human nutrition all over the world. However, low genetic diversity limits the efforts for its improvement. To provide extensive information on genetic variations present between chickpea genotypes, we performed high-depth whole genome resequencing of 18 important chickpea genotypes including both desi and kabuli types. The sequencing was performed using Illumina platform to generate 100 bp paired-end reads. The summary of sequence data is given below.
Oryza coarctata Genome http://ccbb.jnu.ac.in/ory-coar/ Yes http://14.139.62.220/software_uploads/623.jpg No File Firefox/Mozilla/Safari/chrome Oryza coarctata (Porteresia coarctata Tateoka) is a wild halophyte, which shows considerable adaptation to high salinity (20-40 dS m-1) and submergence stresses. It is a close wild relative of rice and can serve as an important source of genes related to salinity and submergence tolerance. This webpage provides draft sequence and annotation of Oryza coarctata genome. The current scaffold-level draft genome assembly was generated using short-read Illumina data along with transcriptome and BAC-end data sets. In addition, expression levels of the protein coding genes annotated in the genome under salinity and/or submergence stresses are provided as expression matrix. Further, annotation and expression levels of predicted long non-coding RNAs are given. A list of miRNAs identified based on small RNA sequencing data along with their targets is also provided here. Moreover, we provide a signle base resolution methylation map of O. coarctata via positions of the methylated cytosines in CG, CH
PLNCPRO http://ccbb.jnu.ac.in/plncpro/ Yes http://14.139.62.220/software_uploads/624.jpg No File 4GB/Linux Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) make up a significant portion of non-coding RNAs and are involved in a variety of biological processes. The long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) do not code for proteins and have minimum transcript length of 200 bp. Accurate identification/annotation of lncRNAs is the primary step for gaining deeper insights into their functions. Next generation RNA-sequencing methods give us an opportunity to study the whole transcriptome of any organism and these data can be used to identify potential lncRNAs. We have developed a novel tool, PLncPRO, for prediction of lncRNAs in plants using transcriptome data. PLncPRO is based on machine learning and uses random forest algorithm via constructing training model based on 71 features to classify the coding and long non-coding transcripts. PLncPRO has very high prediction accuracy and is particularly well-suited for plants. The performance of PLncPRO was quite better with vertebrate transcriptome data as well. We demonstarted it
Morus Indica Genome http://tgsbl.jnu.ac.in/MindGP/ Yes http://14.139.62.220/software_uploads/625.jpg No File 4GB/Linux Mulberry is an economically important crop plant that is used for human food, animal feed and sericulture in addition to the pharmaceutical and timber industry. Mulberry is a flowering plant belonging to Moraceae family and Morus genus. The silkworm (Bombyx mori) feeds exclusively on mulberry leaves. The growth and development features of mulberry are very important for the sericultural production. Till date, quite a few genomic resources have been developed for some of the Morus spp.
